Best Unbiased News Podcasts

Unbiased news. That mythical unicorn we’re all desperately hunting while doom-scrolling at 2 AM, wondering if literally anything we’re reading is actually true. In an era where your aunt’s Facebook posts somehow carry the same algorithmic weight as actual journalism, and where every news outlet seems to have picked a team like we’re all trapped in the world’s most depressing sports league, finding genuinely balanced coverage feels about as likely as finding a politician who admits they were wrong about something.

But fear not, weary news consumer! While true objectivity may be as real as my motivation to go to the gym, there are actually some podcasts out there that at least try to present multiple perspectives without making you feel like you need a shower afterward. Grab your headphones, prepare for the revolutionary concept of “nuance,” and let’s look at some shows that won’t make you want to throw your phone into the nearest body of water.
