Find That Pod # 20

Pods You Should Listen To

Welcome to the 20th edition of Find That Pod. With today’s newsletter, we’re marking 100 podcast recommendations we’ve now made over the course of the first 20 weeks of this newsletter. And if your feedback is any indication, you’re loving our choices so far. In that spirit, let’s keep things going shall we? Here are this week’s picks:

2.0 Podcast

Given both its clever name and rather Ummm, esoteric podcast art cover, and wacky premise, I simply had to give it a try. You have to listen to it yourself to fully grok the brilliance of what happens within each episode, but the premise is simple. Two brothers take on seemingly mundane things and topics such as Shoes, The Ocean, Trees, Memory, Hats, Cupcakes, and more to see how in the spirit of 2.0ness, they can improve on things that are simply just … fine.

The Clearing

Ushered in by the infamous Serial podcast, True Crime is one of the most popular podcast categories today with seemingly every new podcast delving further and further afield into the world of crime to tell compelling stories listeners will tune in for. But the story presented in THE CLEARING is, and I say this with no love for hyperbole, truly and utterly bonkers. I’ll say no more, just go listen.

Waveform with MKBHD

Creeping up on nearly 10 million YouTube subscribers, MKBHD, otherwise known as ultimate frisbee champ Marques Brownlee is one of the biggest names in Technology journalism. For years, he’s been producing incredibly slick, smart and polished tech reviews on YouTube and now he’s bringing his talents to the podcast world. We’re only one episode into this podcast, but I’m super excited for this show’s future.
