Pods You Should Listen To
Welcome to the 21st edition of Find That Pod. This week we veer a bit more into the scripted series genre with some of the podcast picks, so if that’s something you enjoy, you’ll likely find something great to listen to below. Here are this week’s picks:

Carrier
From the same producers that brought you one of our previous picks (Blackout), comes a scripted show featuring a simple premise. What happens when a truck driver picks up a loaded trailer but doesn’t know what’s inside? Make sure you’ve got your headphones on for this one as they use some clever audio tricks to create a more immersive experience. Best experienced at night.

Darknet Diaries
Easily one of my favourite new podcasts that I’ve discovered in the last few months. Darknet Diaries takes you on an exploration of the darker side of the Internet. Hacking, data breaches, privacy hacks, cybercrime and more. An amazing show that shows you what lurks just beneath the civilized veneer of the web.

This is Love
A truly fascinating podcast that delves into the topic about which most songs have been written about: Love. Amazing, soulful, uplifting and heartbreaking stories of human love, sacrifice, lust, and obsession are on display in this imaginative podcast.

It Could Happen Here
With today’s political climate, it’s no wonder that people are starting to openly ponder the idea of a second American Civil War. That’s the topic of “It Could Happen Here” and is actually one of the more thoughtful explorations of this topic that I’ve heard. The idea is not as absurd as it may seem at first glance.
