Pods You Should Listen To

Welcome to the 25th edition of Find That Pod.

Thank you once again to everyone who suggested new podcasts this week in our weekly twitter suggestion thread. So many great podcasts… I guess I just have to listen to podcasts 24/7 now. In the meanwhile, here are this week’s new podcasts for you to take out for a spin:

Popcorn Psychology

Three real-life licensed therapists take a run at popular movies and characters. There are other podcasts of this exact same format, but I found that Popcorn Psychology is the one to beat. Entertaining and a great way to gain a new perspective on some of your favourite pop-culture hits.

Malicious Life

I know I featured a similar type of podcast a few weeks back, but this one also deserves a healthy mention. Malicious Life takes a gander at some of the most infamous hacks in history and breaks them down in delectable detail. Dig into a history of the dark side of the tech world you probably didn’t know.

Dregs of Craigs

Prepare your funny bone for a healthy dose of hilarity, courtesy of this podcast that aims to highlight and dissect some of the most ridiculous, most cringe-worthy and confounding ads found on Craig’s List. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is a tasty bit of comedy gold. Not that one would eat gold… unless it was that thin flaky stuff, which is still, kinda weird right?

Museum Archipelago

Museum nerds unite! What a novel concept for a podcast. Host Ian Elsner takes you on a bite-sized exploration of the world’s museums, their highlights and even explores some of the problems that are plaguing them. An intriguing look inside the worldwide phenomenon of culture and history preservation.

Revolutions

This one is definitely for the ultra-fans of history and how, in part, it has been shaped by a long series of successive revolutions. A weekly podcast with some real historic oomph behind it.
