Pods You Should Listen To
Welcome to the 8th edition of Find That Pod. As always, this week features 5 amazing new podcasts I think you should give a try. No time to waste, on to the pods:

The Greatest Generation
There’s a lot of Star Trek podcasts out there, but The Greatest Generation has decided to take the approach of reviewing every Star Trek: The Next Generation episode from start to finish, and are currently making their way through Deep Space 9. Entertaining, funny and definitely a must listen for Trek fans everywhere.

Life is Short with Justin Long
Although it’s brand new, I couldn’t help but recommend this new podcast from Justin Long who I’ve been a fan of ever since he did those Mac vs. PC commercials. Sounds like Justin has gotten off to a great start with his new podcast that features celebrity interviews.

Ologies
By far one of my favourite new podcasts, I’ve been binging this one for the past few weeks. Hilarious host Allie Ward provides an amazing forum for interviewing some of the smartest people in science. And any description beyond the show’s official byline would be doing it injustice so I’ll just leave that here: Volcanoes. Trees. Drunk butterflies. Mars missions. Slug sex. Death. Beauty standards. Anxiety busters. Beer science. Bee drama. Take away a pocket full of science knowledge and charming, bizarre stories about what fuels these professional -ologists’ obsessions.

Road Work
Two of, dare I say, most beloved podcast personalities team up for a deeply intimate podcast that reveals both men’s characters and thoughts about practically every life topic you can conceive of. Hosted by John Roderick and Dan Benjamin.

Olympic Fever
Well researched and in-depth, Olympic Fever, yep you guessed it, is a podcast dedicated to all things Olympics. Even if you think the Olympics are a politically fuelled venue for Nationalism to strut its stuff, you can’t deny that the Olympics are the world’s greatest spectacle of sport. Hosts Jill Jaracz and Alison Brown interview athletes, organizers and historians in a must-listen podcast for any fans of the Olympics or just sport in general.
