A little off-beat, and a little irreverant, this podcast is not your typical stodgy history podcast you would come to expect, given the topic. No. This podcast dedicated to the many Greek and Roman myths brings a fresh voice and approach to discussing the various fascinating aspects of how myths have shaped our modern society.

If you’re into the world of Cryptocurrency and all manner of new financial vehicles that rely on blockchain technologies, this podcast is definitely for you. I won’t bore you with all the acronyms but if you’re a crypto bro, or crypto sis, Kevin Rose of Digg and now venture capital fame has started a brand new show that talks all things DeFi, yield farming, NFTs, FIRE, robo-investing, finance hacks and more. Shoot, I did wind up boring you with all the acronyms didn’t I?

The Reality Check

This podcast is a long-running Canadian show that somehow flown under my radar for two years. It’s a show dedicated to tackling a wide range of controversies and curiosities by employing the scientific method and actual critical thinking. What a novelty in today’s world filled with misinformation and willful ignorance! A pretty great show I think you should check out.

Risky Business

Here’s another incredibly long-running podcast with a start date that runs back to 2007. It’s a regular digest for information security pros and those even remotely interested in the inner workings of today’s information technology security environment. In-depth interviews and a discussion of current-ongoings in this highly technical but nevertheless fascinating podcast.
