Published twice a week, the ultimate goal of the show is to help end the stigma that too often surrounds mental health issues.

By speaking to a wide variety of experts, professionals and other guests, the host brings a warm and welcoming interview style that results in a lot of useful and practical advice on a variety of topics. If you or someone you know has struggled with some of these issues, this show is definitely worth an extended listen!

Real Dictators

This podcast is all about the worst Tyrants in human history. It explores and uses dramatic and immersive story-telling (the best kind) combined with interviews from history professors, authors and other experts who have dedicated their lives to studying some of the worst people who have ever lived. So if you want to get a bit more acquainted with the exploits of dictators such as Kim jong-il, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong and more, this is a great podcast to sink your teeth into.

Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown

When you’re this smart and this wealthy, you probably don’t need to be doing a podcast. And yet, neuroscientist, and actor Mayim Bialik has produced a wonderous show here that talks about a variety of topics related to well-being. From mental health, to trauma, drug use, meditation, sexual identity, weed, there’s something in here for everyone. Mayim brings in some top-notch guests, many of which you will have heard of before, but also scientists and experts that you will probably hear about for the first time.

Maintenance Phase

Two podcast hosts of other fame, Michael Hobbes of (You’re Wrong About) and Aubrey Gordon of (Your Fat Friend) come together on this amazing new show to discuss and debunk the endless procession of health and wellness fads that simply don’t hold up to any level of scientific scrutiny. But this show isn’t just about the science, it’s also about the cultural impact that these health and wellness fads have had on our modern Western society. Well worth a listen.

Spy Affair

Ever hear of a woman called Maria Butina? Turns out she was a Russian foreign agent who managed to inflitrate some of the higher echelons of conservative groups in the US, including the Natonal Rifle Association. This all happened prior to and during Trump’s term in office. In 2018 she was arrested by the FBI and eventually deported. But the story is much deeper and more intriguing than all that. This amazing new show from Wondery digs deep into the story of a charismatic Russian woman whose entire story, investigative journalists are still trying to unravel.
