The Dream

Sadly we all know someone who has either fallen into a legit pyramid scheme or something close to it… or shall we say… Pyramid Scheme adjacent. I’m looking at you “essential” oils. Ugh. Everyone is chasing the dream of more money, and this podcast looks into the various impacts and machinations of pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, and all the other businesses that require their members to recruit their friends, neighbors, and family.

Those Conspiracy Guys

It’s hard to tell sometimes when these guys are serious or not, but that’s kind of the point of a comedy podcast based around exploring a variety of conspiracy theories? Nevertheless, I had a hard time actually stopping to listen to this podcast, I found it that entertaining. If you’re into hearing some quality comedy about various conspiracy related topics, this is the pod for you.

So I Married a Movie Geek

Let’s face it, there are hundreds if not thousands of “movie review/movie watching club” podcasts out there, but only a few stand out with this level of quality. It all starts with the correct premise, and this one is entertaining in part based on the fact that a married couple watches a movie that SHE has never seen before and they discuss it in each episode. Listening to this podcast is like living my own life since the gap of movie-watching experience in my marriage is almost equally disparate.

History of the ’90s

If you’re my age, this podcast will be a nostalgic trip down the memory lane that is the 1990’s. The 90’s defined many Generation X’ers through its various cultural casts including Columbine, Seinfeld, Air Jordans, the Spice Girls, the OJ Simpson verdict, Friends, and more. Discover this relatively new but fantastic podcast, you won’t regret it.

Incel

The incel community came raging into our modern consciousness with the murder of 10 people in the Toronto Van attack in 2018. Ever since the world has raged in a debate about this community. Are they a group of losers that just need to get their shit together, or are they a group of men that we should have sympathy for? What if the truth is somewhere in between? This podcast by investigating journalist Naama Kates aims to dive deep inside the incel community.
