5 New Podcasts To Listen To
Welcome to the 33rd edition of Find That Pod.
As always, welcome new subscribers, glad you’re with us. I’m curious… aside from this newsletter, how else do you ladies and gents find great new podcasts? Hit me up on twitter to let me know.
Now I know you’ve all been glued to the oh-so-exciting impeachment hearings happening in the U-S-of-A, but I think these 5 new podcast picks for the week should serve as a welcome distraction. Go forth and fill thine ears with some quality audio:
Hailing from my mother country of Canada, Personal Best is easily one of the funniest, and quirkiest podcasts I’ve had the pleasure of running across. It’s a show designed to help people achieve their goals and be their personal best, no matter how absurdly constrained some of those goals may be.
JOCKO is an incredible person. Former Navy seal, now, amongst many other ventures, Jocko Willink runs a consulting business but explores an incredibly wide variety of topics on his podcast with some amazing guests. Topics include, business, war, relationships, and everyday life. Jocko drops more pearls of wisdom in one episode of his podcast than many people ever will in their lifetimes. If you’re looking for ways to improve your life, be more mindful and simply look at things from a different perspective, this 200+ episode archive is an embarrassingly wealthy treasure trove of advice.

Why Won’t You Date Me?
This podcast could easily fall into the Comedy genre as it’s a sharply altogether biting and hilarious look at why this lady (Nicole Byer) remains single. If you want an entertaining inside look at one person’s dating woes over the years amidst the complexities and insanities of today’s dating world, this is the podcast for you.
The Secret Life of Canada
As you may have ascertained, Find That Pod hails from the Great White North, also known as Canada, and believe you me, growing up in this country, I was endlessly bored with Canadian History. But as I’ve revisited it in my adult life, I’ve discovered it’s full of intrigue and little-known stories that are both surprising, but still oh-so-Canadian. That’s what this fantastic podcast from the CBC is all about.
Ever wonder how the world will end? Now, because of this great fiction/anthology podcast, you don’t need to walk around carrying existential dread. Each episode explores various apocalyptic scenarios and how, if they should come to pass, would they really play out. Enjoy your world-ending dread!
