Science Rules

Your favorite wacky scientist is back with a podcast designed to give the science part of your brain a righteous tickle. No question is too big or too small for Bill to tackle with a variety of science-minded guests. I know Bill Nye isn’t for everyone, (his Netflix show was terrible), but this podcast is quite digestible in a way that won’t give you any sort of indigestion.

The Missing Cryptoqueen

When it comes to story-telling, the BBC is on-part with the best. This podcast is no exception. There have been countless stories about how the Bitcoin / Blockchain / Cryptocurrency mania brought out the world of grifters and scammers both big and small in an attempt to capitalize on unsuspecting investor’s FOMO amidst what was touted as the next big thing in money and finance. This is the story of Dr. Ruja Ignatova and OneCoin. And oh boy, it’s a doozy! Strap in for this 8 episode story that will have you screaming at whatever device you’re using to listen.

No Such Thing as a Fish

At first, I was skeptical of this podcast. I had never heard of QI before, but upon listening to a few episodes I was hooked. The writers of the hit BBC show QI – a British comedy panel quiz show huddle around a microphone and discuss the things they discovered in any given week while preparing for the show. Absolutely hilarious show.

The Phenomenon

I’m a giant sucker for any science-fiction that explores to end-of-the-world stories. The story of this supernatural threat has three simple rules: Do not look outside, do not look at the sky and don’t make any noise. Pretty simple right? I’ll leave it at that.

Angry Americans

There’s no doubt that the political climate of America is, well, let’s just say, rather nasty these days. As a result, there are a lot of angry Americans. A veteran of the Iraqi war, Paul Rieckhoff hosts a charged political podcast that aims at breaking down some of the most important political issues facing America with a variety of high-profile guests. As they say, if you’re in the angry middle, Angry Americans is a podcast that reminds you that you’re not alone.
