Welcome to the 38th edition of Find That Pod.

Thanks again to everyone for their recommendations in our weekly twitter suggestion thread. To say I’ve got a lot of listening to do is a gross understatement.

How’s everyone doing post-impeachment? Is everyone ok? Did anybody lose their mind? No? Ok good…just checking. At least you have the holidays to look forward to. If that’s your sort of thing, then HAPPY HOLIDAYS, if not, HAPPY SOME TIME OFF WORKDAYS!

Science Rules! with Bill Nye

Everyone knows who Bill Nye is. He’s your friendly neighborhood science guy, eager and willing to teach a new generation of science-curious ladies and gentlemen. In this podcast, Bill takes a phone call from the audience and attempts to answer some practical questions about science and how it has an impact on your daily life. Vitamins, GMOs, Skin Color, Psychopaths, Climate Change, Loose Nukes, and more fun topics are covered!

Vox continues to expand its media empire by adding new and interesting podcasts to their lineup. One of those podcasts is this RESET, that explores how and why technology continues to be the major driver of change in our world. A nice mix of covering current events in technology along with deep-dives on broader topics.

Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? But if you’re curious to know how global trade has transformed the economy, in part through the containerization of products that are shipped from port to port, this  8-part documentary is astonishingly good. Capitalism can be weird, but you’ll probably get a better understanding of its modern-day iteration by listening to this podcast.
