Find That Pod # 96

Five Great New Podcasts

Welcome to the 96th edition of Find That Pod.

Welcome new subscribers! As we near the 100 edition mark and the 2-year mark of this newlsetter, I’ve got a few new things coming down the pipeline.

I’m happy to reveal today that one of those things will be the ability to advertise in this newsletter. Whether you want to promote your own podcast, podcasting tool, or any other project you’re working on, I’m going to open up the newsletter for you to be able to do that. Stay tuned for more news about that in the coming weeks.

As always, here are this week’s podcast recommendations:

Calming our minds. Soothing ourselves. That’s probably something many of us have been struggling with since the start of the pandemic, and perhaps even before. This podcast aims to help you anchor yourself to something more stable and calm amidst the storm of our daily lives. Well with a listen.

Sway with Kara Swisher

I used to really dislike Kara Swisher. I thought she was an incredibly obnoxious and annoying interviewer. But at some point I gave her a second chance, and I’m glad I did. Her personality and interviewing style has grown on me, and I think she brings a particular tenacity to the way she questions some of our technology and business leaders. That’s why I think this new interview show from Kara hits all the right marks. Add to that the production quality you can count on from a New York Times podcast and you’ve got a great new show to listen to.

Noah Kagan Presents

I’m always on the lookout for new shows that bring something unique to the conversation space around entrepreneurship. I’ve been one for the majority of my adult life, and so when I run across one that I’ve actually learned a lot from, I tend to dig through the archives. The Noah Kagan show, is such a podcast. With more and more of us choosing the way of running our own thing, you’ll be happy to dive into this podcast that features insightful interviews with entrepreneurs of all stripes.

Nerds Amalgamated

Nerds talking about nerdy things related to nerdy pop-culture. Normally that’s all you’d need to know about this show, but perhaps that’s not enticing enough. This show is a very nice mix of talk about video games, movies, technology launches, and other nerdy news impacting the world of nerds. So go ahead, let your geeky flag fly as high as you can lift it, for the nerds of the world have amalgamated and now run everything. Including this show. Which you should listen to.
